"Currently I have two pigeons with me - Paakhi and her husband Mangu. Paakhi is a shy, demure girl whereas Mangu is a typical Haryanwi chora =)) he doesn't let any other pigeon come into the balcony where they stay. Mangu listens to me singing Kal ho na ho song. He is a sonu nigam fan. I actually love them. I was all alone and they were kind of giving me company; they are my flat mates. They are even more scared of us humans. It's been almost 7 months now that we three have been living together but they still are afraid of me. As soon as I open the balcony door to feed them bajra, they fly away. Mangu does pick up fights with other male pigeons who come to "line-maaring" Paakhi. I don't know if Paakhi and Mangu are married or not, they never invited me =)) Or may be it's a live-in relationships, they are surely in deep love, I must say. BTW, Paakhi and Mangu are by no means camera-friendly. They just don't let me take their pics as soon as they see my camera. So chipte chipate cell phone se letaa hoon." says Amit Patnaik, a blogger.
